"Profiles are here again... the series will make a worthwhile contribution to motoring history, and we shall follow it with interest..." wrote William Boddy in Motor Sport when welcoming the return of the new Cars in Profile Series.
Car Profiles are accurate, detailed, yet lively monographs on the design, development and, where appropriate, the competition record of some of the great cars of our time in every field ─ Grand Prix racing, luxury cars, GT cars (and even economy cars if they turned out to be winners like the Mini). They are authoritatively written by specialists in their subjects and are profusely illustrated in both colour and black-and-white.
Here, then, is the first collection of this new series offered in bound format.
There are twenty-four pages of superb colour illustrations, 60,000 words and approximately 150 magnificent photographs and diagrams. A useful index is included.
Anthony Harding, the Series editor, has set a high standard of motor publishing with this book.
